Questions
How much does a fence cost per foot?
Installed in Rockland and Bergen: vinyl privacy $45 to $70 per foot, cedar privacy $40 to $65, aluminum $35 to $60. Gates priced separately.
Do I need a permit for a fence?
Most towns in NY and NJ require one, with height limits of 4 feet in front and 6 feet in back. We handle the application.
How tall can a privacy fence be?
6 feet in most rear yards. Some towns allow 8 with a variance. Planted screens have no height limit.
How long until a planted screen is private?
6 to 7 foot arborvitae planted tight give privacy the first season and fill in within two years.
